Bankruptcy Court filing fee: $338.
Credit report: $40 for a single filer or $80 if married.
Gross Receipt Tax (GRT): 7.4375% applied to the professional fee.
Professional fee: a maximum of $800. But, I look at the federal poverty level guidelines (FPLG) to determine the fee. If your household is 100% or below, my fee is $400. If your household is between 101% and 150%, my fee is $600. If your household is above 150%, my fee is $800. The discount does not apply if you own or are purchasing real estate, land, or buildings.
Bankruptcy Court filing fee: $313
Credit report: $40 for a single filer or $80 if married.
Professional fee: $1,000.
There may be and almost certainly will be additional costs and fees associated with your chapter 13 bankruptcy. I will file a fee application after your chapter 13 plan of reorganization is final. If approved, any additional costs and fees will be out of your chapter 13 plan payments.
If you have ARAG legal insurance, the costs and fees for filing a chapter 7 is $453.28 for a single filer and $498.28 for a married filer.
If you have ARAG legal insurance, the costs and fees for filing chapter 13 is $458.41 for a single filer and $503.41 for a married filer.
